Below is a listing of our hard working Committee Chair members.

The Keith PTO could not run without each of you.

PTO Chair Descriptions

Angel Tree 

• Get with Counselors on Angel Tree needs
• Assemble the tree and decorate in front office, make ornaments for tree
• Speak at Thanksgiving Feast lunches encouraging parents to take an ornament

Art 

• Work with Art teacher on needs she has
• Coordinate volunteers to help hang artwork

Fifth Grade 

• Plan and organize Fifth Grade Party (make committee to help with this)
• Fundraise to cover Fifth Grade expense

Homeroom Parent Coordinator 

• Find and assign a Homeroom Parent for each class
• Assist with plans and responsibilities of Homeroom Parents (hold meeting to cover parties, communication, etc)
• Organize Classroom Baskets for Sock Hop 

Imagination Garden 

• Schedule and coordinate volunteers for garden activities based upon instructor’s (Garden Lady) needs
• Help to maintain the garden (weed, water, etc)
• Cover plants to prepare for winter (covers will be provided)

Library 

• Schedule and organize library volunteers with librarian
• Assist with shelving, events and library needs

Music 

• Schedule and organize library volunteers to help with sets for programs
• Assist with any needs for the music program/performances

Field Day  

• Schedule and coordinate volunteers to assist with Field Day activities
• Work with PE staff on any additional needs for Field Day

Picture Day

• Schedule and organize volunteers to assist on Picture Day (twice per year)
• Plan lunch and snacks for volunteers
• Assist photographers with students

Red Ribbon Week 

• Decorate school for Red Ribbon Week
• Work with school counselors on details
• Supplies will be provided

Staff Appreciation 

• Plan events/meals for staff members (luncheons/breakfasts, birthdays,etc.)
• Coordinate with VP of Volunteers 

Yearbook 

• Design yearbook with assistance of Balfour 
• Schedule and coordinate yearbook volunteers for photo taking, etc
• Promote picture taking to PTO members

Candy Cane Fun Run

•   Attend a monthly meetings with the 4 other schools for planning
•   Fundraising
•   Price and order medals and shirts 
•   Provide support at the day of the fun run

Primary Fundraising

• Assist with fundraising campaigns
• Coordinate with vendors
• Procure donations 
• Assist VP of Primary Fundraising on all fundraising aspects

 Secondary Fundraising

• Assist the VP of Secondary Fundraising 
• Help plan and execute Spirit Nights 
• Manage Spirit Store
